Our Story

GB Pest Solutions was founded in 2018 by Justin Gilbert, who has been the driving force behind the business since day one. From hands-on pest control services to administrative work and posting information and pictures on the social media page, Justin manages every aspect of the company himself. Thanks to steady growth that has been fueled almost entirely by word-of-mouth referrals—GB Pest Solutions is considering bringing on part-time help during the busy season.

Since transitioning to full-time in 2020, Justin has proudly served Genesee County as well as parts of Monroe, Livingston, and Orleans Counties. To date, GB Pest Solutions has provided services for nearly 500 clients! The majority of services are performed from April through October when pest activity is at its peak.

With over a decade of industry experience, Justin began his career working for two larger pest control companies over a span of two and a half years—one company focused on residential clients, the other on commercial accounts. These early roles gave him a well-rounded foundation and a clear vision of how pest control services should be delivered. That vision became the backbone of GB Pest Solutions: providing honest, responsive, and customer-first service.

For Justin, the most rewarding part of running GB Pest Solutions isn’t just the work itself—it’s the relationships that are built with clients over time. Many of those clients have been with GB Pest Solutions since the very first summer in 2018.

When Justin is not working he loves to spend time outdoors. The last few years he has taken many hunting trips and travelled to different places around the country like Florida, Idaho, and Maine and several more states are planned in the future. He also likes to fish and play cornhole.
